In this session we will examine the tax frameworks for natural persons in Austria, exploring the intricacies associated with relocating from Germany to its neighbouring nation.
Our speakers:
Dr Nils Häck is a partner at Flick Gocke Schaumburg in Bonn. He advises mainly private clients and family-owned businesses on domestic and foreign tax law, specialising in advising clients on relocation. He is the author of numerous publications, especially on exit taxation. Dr Häck is also a lecturer in international tax law at the University of Mannheim.
Mag. Roland Fugger is a partner at LeitnerLeitner and is based in Linz, Austria. He advises natural persons on cross-border matters, including residency relocations and succession planning. He also advises companies on reorganisations, holding structures and other Austrian and foreign tax issues, and has authored articles in related journals.
