Sustainability
Sustainability is a key social issue. Success in business can no longer be seen as success if it deprives future generations of their livelihood. That’s why we are active in the search for practical solutions to conserve resources and develop alternatives.
In 2022 Flick Gocke Schaumburg signed up to the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative. This commits us to take action in support of achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Progress on respecting human rights, improving labor standards, protecting the environment and fighting corruption is in everyone’s interest. We base our business activities on these principles. Starting in 2023, we will publish an annual progress report to explain publicly what we’re doing and what we still need to do. The reports and other measures will be coordinated by our sustainability team, which comprises members from all professional groups across all our offices.
