Continuing to grow: Flick Gocke Schaumburg announces numerous new partners

Flick Gocke Schaumburg has appointed eight new partners and eleven associated partners with effect from January 1, 2024. As in previous years, all of the appointed partners have been selected from the firm’s own ranks.

The large number of appointments and the wide range of specialisms reflect the diversity and successful growth of the firm and its tax-focused legal advice.

The following people will enter into the partnership in 2024:

Dr. Christian Engelen (tax law, Bonn), Dr. Christina Hildebrand (tax law, Düsseldorf and Bonn), Dr. Christian Kahlenberg (tax law, Berlin and Bonn), Dr. Eva-Maria Kraus (tax law, Bonn), Dr. Ursula Neuhoff (labor and employment law, Bonn), Dr. Carsten Quilitzsch (tax law, Bonn and Düsseldorf), Dr. Tobias Schwan (tax law, Bonn), Dr. Philipp Windeknecht (tax law, Frankfurt).

The newly appointed associated partners are:

Further, Flick Gocke Schaumburg has appointed Marc Rösch (tax advisor and auditor) and Anselm von Ritter (auditor) as managing directors of WP GmbH as of January 1, 2024.

Thanks to this year’s appointments, Flick Gocke Schaumburg has added a total of 35 new partners and 60 associated partners over the last five years.

Introducing the new partners in 2024:

Dr. Christian Engelen is a tax advisor specializing in international corporate tax law, with a focus on transfer pricing. His clients include domestic and foreign corporate groups, family businesses and company founders.

Dr. Christina Hildebrand, a lawyer and tax advisor, advises corporate groups, companies, family businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Her focus is on tax litigation and legal protection in tax matters, representing clients’ interests in tax audit disputes, appeal proceedings, and before the tax courts, including the Federal Tax Court.

Dr. Christian Kahlenberg is a tax advisor and expert advisor on international tax law. He advises owner-managed companies and their shareholders, founders and investors, high-net-worth individuals and family businesses on international tax law (in particular the taxation of international transactions) in connection with relocations, private wealth structuring (including holding structures), reorganizations and global mobility.

Dr. Eva-Maria Kraus is a lawyer and tax advisor. She provides ongoing legal and tax advice to civil society organizations and NPOs with all legal forms (in particular foundations, associations, gGmbHs), their governing bodies, patrons and founders.

Dr. Ursula Neuhoff is a lawyer and certified labor and employment lawyer. She advises employers and board members in and out of court on all labor and employment law and social security law issues, the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements and internal investigations.

Dr. Carsten Quilitzsch is a tax advisor. He advises domestic and foreign corporate groups, family businesses, high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs on international group and corporate tax law, transfer pricing and global mobility.

Dr. Tobias Schwan, a lawyer and tax advisor, specializes in advising companies and family businesses in M&A tax, transaction services, corporate and group tax law and international tax law.

Dr. Philipp Windeknecht is a lawyer, tax advisor and maître en droit.
