JUVE Awards 2013: Flick Gocke Schaumburg named “Law Firm of the Year”
Flick Gocke Schaumburg was named “Law Firm of the Year 2013”, ranking at the top of the most important of a total of 18 categories at the 10th annual JUVE Awards ceremony held yesterday in Frankfurt.
According to German publisher JUVE Flick Gocke Schaumburg is the “law firm of the hour”: “Virtually everything Flick Gocke Schaumburg has undertaken in recent years contributed to this year’s impressive results – whether it be consistent growth in terms of personnel, ongoing expansion in the area of corporate law or the performance of its criminal tax law practice.” In the area of tax law, the firm’s core competence, a series of associated partners were promoted, and the firm was also able to demonstrate its ability to handle complex large-scale projects. Finally, the firm was among the first to stake out a presence in the niche of criminal tax law with regards to compliance investigations.
Prof. Dr. Thomas Rödder, Managing Partner of Flick Gocke Schaumburg, who accepted the award for the firm at the ceremony held in Frankfurt’s Alte Oper says: “We continue to defy the trend and have remained committed to our strategy of tax-focussed legal advice. We have systematically built upon our strength in our traditional core area of expertise and successively added quality counsel that cuts across the entire area of corporate law. We are of course very pleased that our dynamic performance in the marketplace has met with such a positive echo and that we have been honoured with the “JUVE Law Firm of the Year 2013.”
The JUVE Awards, which are based on extensive market research, honour law firms that specialise in corporate law and in-house legal departments that have been exceptionally successful in the course of the past year. Flick Gocke Schaumburg has been a “Law Firm of the Year” honoree for the fourth year in a row.
