Jörg Frick joins Flick Gocke Schaumburg in Stuttgart as Of Counsel

Dr Jörg Frick is to join Flick Gocke Schaumburg as Of Counsel. The renowned criminal tax lawyer will be supporting the firm's new office in Stuttgart, which opens at the end of May 2019.

Jörg Frick has extensive experience in tax and commercial criminal law, tax litigation, tax audit and tax investigation proceedings, and customs law. Qualified as a lawyer and a tax advisor, he was a partner with Gleiss Lutz for decades before founding the criminal law boutique Frick + Partner, formerly Frick Quedenfeld, in 2004.

The new Stuttgart office will be managed by partner Jesco Idler, who himself specializes in compliance and risk management, including the management of internal investigations into economic and tax offences. Dr Karsten Randt and Dr Jörg Schauf, partners of the tax and white-collar criminal law practice in Bonn, will be temporarily present in Stuttgart. Marc Bareither, an expert in tax litigation and criminal tax law, joined the new office from KPMG as an associated partner on May 1.
