ITR European Tax Awards 2016: Flick Gocke Schaumburg named “German Tax Law Firm of the Year” and “German Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year”

Flick Gocke Schaumburg was honored as “German Tax Law Firm of the Year” and “German Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year” at the ITR European Tax Awards 2016. Partners Prof. Hubertus Baumhoff and Dr. Xaver Ditz accepted the awards on behalf of the firm on May 26.

“Along with our title of ‘Law Firm of the Year: Germany’ awarded by the British legal industry magazine The Lawyer, these two prizes are a tremendous acknowledgment of our work, which is receiving more and more international attention,” comments Prof. Baumhoff.

This is the second year in a row that Flick Gocke Schaumburg has won the title “German Tax Law Firm of the Year”. The firm was honored as “German Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year” by the International Tax Review in 2014.

The European Tax Awards have been awarded since 2005 by the International Tax Review to law firms and consultancies for exceptional performance in one of 27 jurisdictions or for outstanding transactions in a particular sector or area of expertise. The award criteria include innovation, complexity of engagements, and the size of the team.
