Flick Gocke Schaumburg continues to grow with numerous partner appointments

Flick Gocke Schaumburg has appointed six partners, including three female partners, and 13 associated partners, including five female associated partners, with effect from January 1, 2023. As in previous years, all the appointed partners have been selected from the firm’s own ranks.

In 2023, the following people will enter into the partnership:

Dr. Nadia Altenburg (tax law, Hamburg and Düsseldorf), Dr. Philipp Diffring (tax law, Bonn), Dr. Michael Grimm (corporate law/M&A, capital markets law, Bonn and Stuttgart), Michal Kühn (tax law, Frankfurt), Judith Mehren (tax law, Bonn) and Dr. Bettina Wirth-Duncan (M&A/corporate law, Munich).

The newly appointed associated partners are:

Dr. Georg Bestelmeyer (Stuttgart), Dr. Erik Duesberg (Bonn and Düsseldorf), Lisa Christine Frühwacht (Frankfurt), Dr. Leonie Haßler (Munich), Dr. Goetz Kempelmann (Düsseldorf), Dr. Christoph Klein (Frankfurt), Volker Küpper (Bonn), Anne-Catherine Lorek (Munich), Fabian Mang (Stuttgart), Dr. Charlotte Pötters (Bonn), Dr. Philipp Rottke (Bonn), Dr. Rebecca Wald (Frankfurt) and Dr. Alexander Witfeld (Düsseldorf).

Introducing the new partners in 2023:

Dr. Nadia Altenburg is a lawyer and tax advisor. Her clients include businesses, corporate groups, family businesses and private individuals. She advises on international tax law, business and corporate group taxation, restructuring projects and business succession.

Dr. Philipp Diffring, a lawyer and tax advisor, advises high-net-worth individuals, businesses, corporate groups and associations on tax matters, with a particular focus on sports and media. His expertise also covers international tax law, the taxation of intangible assets, the law of business taxation and tax accounting. 

Dr. Michael Grimm, lawyer, advises domestic and foreign companies on corporate and group law, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring projects and business succession matters. In the healthcare/life sciences sector, he works with clients at the interface between corporate law and regulation.

Michal Kühn is a tax advisor and expert advisor on international tax law. He advises high-net-worth individuals on income tax and inheritance tax matters, particularly with regard to tax compliance and cross-border situations.

Judith Mehren is a lawyer and tax advisor. She provides comprehensive ongoing advice to foundations, associations and public-law entities, and to private individuals and businesses in respect of asset planning and business succession.

Dr. Bettina Wirth-Duncan is a lawyer and maître en droit. She advises on mergers and acquisitions, in particular with European and international implications, and on complex corporate law issues and restructuring projects. Her clients include private and public-sector entities, and private equity investors and funds.<<<
