Flick Gocke Schaumburg advises GETEC on sale of VKK Group to WM SE

Flick Gocke Schaumburg has advised GETEC on the sale of the VKK Group to the Babcock Wanson Group. The official authorizations have been obtained and the transaction is expected to be completed shortly.

In addition to VKK Standardkessel Köthen GmbH, VKK Standardkessel Service Köthen GmbH and VKK Standardkessel Verwaltung Köthen GmbH, the VKK Group also includes Dampferzeuger-Rohrleitungsbau GmbH and PCE GmbH. The Group was acquired by the GETEC Group together with VELDE Boilers and Plants GmbH in 2018.

The boiler manufacturer with its sites in Köthen and Duisburg has been reorganized and restructured over the past five years by way of the financial support and network of GETEC.
