Flick Gocke Schaumburg advises Schenker and Deutsche Bahn on sale of MTS Group to WM SE

Flick Gocke Schaumburg has advised Schenker AG and Deutsche Bahn AG on corporate and tax law aspects of the sale of the MTS Group to WE SE. Until now, MTS has been majority-owned by Deutsche Bahn’s subsidiary Schenker AG and other shareholders that contributed their shares in 2015 as part of a merger. The transaction is still subject to the approval of the competition authorities, clearance by federal ministries and resolutions of Deutsche Bahn AG. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
