Flick Gocke Schaumburg advises on Enpal financing round

Flick Gocke Schaumburg has advised the tech entrepreneur Lukasz Gadowski on various financing rounds of the Berlin-based solar start-up Enpal.

Within a short time, Enpal has managed to close two financing rounds with Zalando founders Robert Gentz, David Schneider and Rubin Ritter, and with the investment fund Princeville Climate Technology, supported and financed by actor and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio.

Lukasz Gadowski himself and Alexander Samwer’s fund Picus Capital, which also has a stake in Enpal, invested in previous financing rounds on which Flick Gocke Schaumburg also advised Lukasz Gadowski.

Enpal numbers 400 employees and offers solar plants for rent. Homeowners can use the rental model to obtain green electricity modules at lower costs compared to purchasing them. At the end of the rental period, tenants can purchase the modules.
