Flick Gocke Schaumburg advises OMEGA Real Estate on the sale of its property and facility management to Savills

Flick Gocke Schaumburg has advised OMEGA Real Estate Group on the sale of its property and facility management business to the real estate service provider Savills. The closing of the transaction is still subject to approval by the German Federal Cartel Office.

For Savills the takeover of the two business units marks the entry into the German facility and property management market. They will remain as independent entities within the Savills Group in future.

The OMEGA Group, headquartered in Cologne, specialises in the management of commercially and technically sophisticated real estate portfolios in the office, retail and residential segments. It currently manages real estate assets in the amount of around € 3.7 billion in Germany.

Savills plc is a global provider of real estate services listed at the London Stock Exchange and a member of FTSE 250.
