Flick Gocke Schaumburg has been advising Hypoport AG on its change of legal form to a European Company (Societas Europaea, SE). The change of legal form was resolved at an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting in mid-January 2020 and became effective as of its entry in the commercial register on April 1, 2020.

Berlin-based Hypoport AG is the parent of the Hypoport Group, a network of technology companies serving the banking, property and insurance industries with around 1,700 employees. The group companies are engaged in the sale of financial services in various EU countries, enabled or supported by financial technology.

Hypoport AG is listed in the Prime Standard segment of Deutsche Börse and first entered the SDAX index in 2015. The company has a market capitalization value of around EUR 1.7 billion.
