Flick Gocke Schaumburg has appointed seven equity partners as of 1 January 2013. At the same time, nine of the firm’s associates will join the ranks of the associated partners, including three women. Thus the number of partners will soon rise to 86, of whom 48 are partners within the
meaning of the German Act on Professional Partnerships (PartGG).

The following associated partners will become equity partners from the beginning of 2013: Dr. Johannes Baßler, Dr. Holger Dietrich, Dr. Arne von Freeden, Dr. Ulrich Grünwald, Jesco Idler, Dr. Philipp Rulf (all Bonn) and Dr. Helder Schnittker (Berlin).

The new associated partners are: Dr. Christoph Bode, Dr. Barbara Fleckenstein-Weiland, Dr. Philipp Schweitzer (all Frankfurt), Dr. Nils Häck, Michael Jakobi, Maximiliane Kempermann, Dr. Sebastian Sandhaus, Dr. Jörg Stalleiken (all Bonn) and Dr. Irka Zöllter-Petzoldt (Berlin).

“The large number of appointments shows that highly qualified lawyers and economists with entrepreneurial ambition have significantly better-than-average prospects of becoming partners at our firm,” explains Professor Thomas Rödder, the Managing Partner of Flick Gocke Schaumburg.

“At the same time, this number reflects the extremely successful development of our firm not only last year. We owe our success not least to the outstanding work delivered by our experts. This year, we have been able to open our doors to more partners than ever before.” FGS appointed five equity partners and six associated partners at the beginning of 2012. Today, the professionals at FGS number nearly 250 altogether.
