Flick Gocke Schaumburg advises REWE on the acquisition of 40 Tegut supermarkets
Flick Gocke Schaumburg has advised REWE Group on the planned takeover of up to 40 stores of the supermarket chain Tegut from the Migros Zurich cooperative. The majority of the stores will be integrated into REWE’s sales network, while the remaining locations will be operated by PENNY.
The transaction is subject to approval by the Federal Cartel Office.
The advice covered the antitrust law aspects of the corporate purchase agreement and includes the forthcoming proceedings before the Federal Cartel Office.
