Flick Gocke Schaumburg has advised Cyber Insight GmbH on its seed funding round, in which Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS) invested a seven-digit amount.

The team provided Cyber Insight GmbH with comprehensive legal advice on the negotiation of the participation agreement and transaction documentation, and the prior conversion of the company from the legal form of an Unternehmergesellschaft to a GmbH (both forms of companies with limited liability).

Cyber Insight GmbH develops a multi-factor AI-based IT risk analysis program that analyzes cyber-attack and data-breach risks at SMEs. Cyber Insight’s product helps IT service providers, management consultancies, law firms and insurance companies to improve their clients’ compliance step by step. This includes both security and data protection standards.   The aim is to make cyber risks and regulatory compliance measurable and to enable management and line managers to address these issues appropriately. Previously, this would have meant being exposed to considerable risk due to insufficient capital or lack of expertise.
