The FGS Digital team has won the Taxcellence Award 2022 for its Pillar Two management app. The tool was presented in a five-minute pitch by Holger Maier, managing director at FGS Digital GmbH, and Dr. Nadia Altenburg, associate partner at Flick Gocke Schaumburg. It then took top spot in the jury and audience votes, being singled out in particular for its process-oriented approach and intuitive usage.

Also involved in developing the app were Silvia Seddio, Evrim Kaya-Breuer, Dr. Georg Bestelmeyer, Dr. Sven Kluge and Dirk Schuster.

The award, from the Fachmedien Otto Schmidt publishing house, was presented at the Tax Tech Conference in Frankfurt am Main on November 8, 2022. It is regularly given for ground-breaking IT solutions in the tax technology sector. Companies of all sizes with a background in consulting, industry or IT, as well as associations, colleges and universities, clubs and other organizations, can compete. All entries must be market-ready. The award-winning tools draw attention to the tech innovations that are now possible in tax departments and related spheres.

FGS Digital’s award-winning Pillar Two management app and the related apps on the FGS Tax and Finance platform use the low-code development platform CLUU®. They provide corporate tax and finance departments with an easy, intuitive way to master the future challenges of minimum taxation for all legal entities in a group. The app was designed with clients as an end-to-end process for future Pillar Two calculations and declarations, with user requirements and intuitive usability at the heart of its development from the outset. It aims to bring tax data models and the tax-focused applications based on them onto a central tax and finance platform, providing end users with a simple and intuitive user interface for their use cases, without master and transaction data being entered multiple times and disappearing into data silos.

FGS Digital GmbH is a subsidiary of Flick Gocke Schaumburg. It provides tax-focused digitalization consulting services where tax and IT meet. <<<
