Launched in March 2025, Lexchange is a new short-term secondment initiative from the Taxand network. Designed to enable associates or associated partners the opportunity to spend four weeks with a partner firm abroad, the program currently offers placements at law firms and auditing firms across our network in Europe. It is expected to expand globally in the future.
What are the advantages of Lexchange?
- Simpler: Short-term secondments are quicker and easier to plan and set up.
- More focussed: The shorter duration helps you concentrate on specific skills or projects.
- Less time away: A shorter absence means clients don’t have to be transferred to other colleagues at the beginning and end of your secondment.
- Strategic preparation: A short-term secondment can be used as a trial period or to kick off a standard mid- or long-term secondment.
